TURN AND FACE THE WIND
This collection of 160 works of poetry, prose, and free verse crafted by the author in 2018 constitutes volume two of her poetry series.

Of Cherokee, Dutch, and Spanish descent, Teresa Prins Wood demonstrates the influences of her cultural heritage in her poetry, some of which is politically charged, all the while keeping within the boundaries of her personal vocation of peace demonstrated by compassion.
Unlike volume one, TURN AND FACE THE WIND is not divided into sections nor chapters. Herein, the reader is able to laugh at a light-hearted quip followed by an intense observation of social injustice, and then turn the page to read words of passion/romance, a declaration of spiritual devotion, or a poem to inspire strength and individual empowerment.
